There are 3 CENTEC scientists amongst the 512 scientists in Portugal included in the 195,605 that represent the 2% most cited scientists worldwide during their career until 2022: C. Guedes Soares (1), Yordan Garbatov (296) and Leigh Sutherland (469).
It is the third consecutive year that CENTEC occupies the 1st place amongst scientists in Portugal of all scientific areas in this Ranking. If only the year of 2021 is considered, there is another listing of 763 scientists that include C. Guedes Soares (1), Yordan Garbatov (227), Ângelo Teixeira (449) and Leigh Sutherland (484).
