The Advanced Studies Diploma (ASD) in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering is a 3rd cycle diploma that certifies a level of broad and sound scientific-based level of knowledge required for carrying out fundamental or applied research that may constitute a PhD work.

The DEAENO consists of advanced curricular units (UC’s) that guarantee a level of knowledge and extended and solid scientific basis ensuring the preparation of students for the development of their doctoral thesis.

The course leading to the Advanced Studies Diploma in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering has a duration of one academic year and consists of a set of course units with a total of 30 credits ECTS.

After concluding the course leading to the Advanced Studies Diploma in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering, the ones interested may follow to the Doctoral Programme, complementing the curricular component with research work leading to the PhD thesis.
