An analytical model of an array of moored floating flexible net cage systems is developed to study the dynamics and wave loads on the net cages under the assumption of the linear water wave theory and small-amplitude wave response. The FourierBessel series expansion of the velocity potential is derived for the regions enclosed under the open-water and cage systems and their proximity. The theoretical solution is obtained by employing the least squares approximation method along with matching the velocity and pressure at the fluid-structure interfaces. The present result of horizontal displacement is compared with a published finite element analysis. Further, the results of wave loads and cage displacements on the different arrangements for mooring stiffness, cage radius, and current speeds are compared and analysed. Moreover, the present analysis will be helpful to understand designing further a multiple floating fish cage system with flexible floaters application to offshore aquaculture.
