An analytical model of oblique wave interaction with a moored floating flexible structure based on the Timoshenko-Mindlin beam theory is developed under the assumption of small amplitude wave theory and structural response. Theoretical solutions on the deflection of the structure and reflection and transmission coefficients are obtained by applying the matching technique along with the orthogonal model coupling relation. The hydroelastic response for different incidence angles, mooring stiffness, elastic modulus, and thickness is investigated via the structural deflection and transmission coefficients. The results of the transmission coefficients between the present and numerical model results existing in the literature are compared. The comparison results showed that the present model result is supported by the numerical model results. This present analysis can provide a piece of information for the marine engineer to design a floating flexible platform in the marine environment.
