A numerical algorithm is presented in this paper for calculating the response of ship shape hull advancing in ocean waves. The computer code which is based in the potential flow, originates a double-body code that takes advantage of pulsing source Green function for calculating the radiation and diffraction potential functions. The source code named SEAKIST, is programmed in C++ computer language for solving the boundary value problem. The code deals with different angles of ship heading in a range of frequencies of incident waves regime at a Froude number and calculates the hydrodynamic response. The S-175 container ship hull is chosen for validation in a range of wave frequencies at different angles of heading and the obtained results compare well with the experimental data.
