The probabilistic modulation of data of maritime agitation has an important paper in the description of the sea disturbances, in particular in the forecast of the occurrences of values of significant height of wave and average period of the ascending zeros, characterizing parameters of the sea disturbance. It goes to summarize itself inquiry on this subject in two of its sources: (i) esteem "in the long run" of the waited ratio of observed states of sea already (for opposition the not observed extreme values), (ii) use of functions density in the representation and forecast of the occurrences of sea disturbances and in problems of reliability of maritime structures.
