This paper presents a prediction of fatigue damage in large-scale bracket specimens typical of ship structures. Three-dimensional finite element models are generated and then elastic finite element analysis is performed to evaluate stress concentration factors. Comparative analysis of fatigue damage for all specimens is presented and the difference between numerical predictions is discussed.
