This paper analyses the failure modes based on experimental test results of multispan corroded box-girders, representing amidships ship hull section and subjected to four-point loading. Comparative study for three tested corroded box girder specimens with respect to collapse modes, strain measurements, residual stresses, load-displacement and moment-curvature relationships and the effect of different corrosion levels on structural integrity are performed.
