Exact determination of material properties and fabricating composite laminates with a precise desired thickness presents considerable difficulties in experimental and numerical investigations. This paper, addresses the effect of uncertainty in the values of elasticity modulus and dimensions on the behavior of a laminate under buckling load using Response Surface and Monte Carlo methods. An analytical method is introduced to predict the composite plate behavior. Simply-supported and clamped boundary conditions are investigated. The results will demonstrate safe-fail domain, uncertainty propagation and sensitivity of the laminate behavior respect to the above-mentioned parameters.
