A predictive reliability analysis of ship structures subjected to crack growth based on experimental data is presented. Different failure criteria are analyzed and reliability as a function of loading cycles is defined. Based on statistical analysis of experimental data using the Weibull model several practical scenarios for inspection and repair may be developed.
