Foi projectada e activada uma plataforma servo-hidráulica de testes estáticos e de fadiga a materiais. A plataforma é constituída por três partes distintas: Uma estrutura suporte rígida em aço, um sistema de energia hidráulico e um sistema de aquisição e controlo. Os testes de activação iniciais mostram o bom desempenho e baixo custo global da plataforma.
