Under linearized small amplitude water wave theory and structural response, an analytical model associated with effect of a moored floating flexible circular structure under Timoshenko-Mindlin beam theory is developed. The theoretical solution is obtained by matched eigenfunction expansion method along with orthogonal relation and Bessel’s functions. The accuracy of the present solution is checked with existing published results, the roots of the dispersion relations are demonstrated via contour plots, and several results of bending moment, displacements, and reflection and transmission coefficients for different structural and physical parameters are analysed. It is observed that the displacement of the circular structure decreases with increase in the values of mooring stiffness, thickness, and elastic modulus of the structure. The bending moment becomes lower as the mooring stiffness and structural thickness increase whilst, the reflection coefficient increases and this effect is reverse to that of transmission coefficient.
