The aim is to develop a system for predicting extreme conditions and risks for navigation safety, docking and mooring maneuvers. The system to be developed will provide systematic and reliable information on the effects of wave modelling on port activities and will allow port authorities to coordinate measures and make informed decisions about navigation routes and berthing procedures. The ultimate objective is to reduce the vulnerability of ports and increase their safety levels, thus enhancing their competitiveness and economic success. Furthermore, this project aims to provide greater access to information and communication for port stakeholders.
