The main objectives of this collaboration aims to reinforce the capabilities of both participants in the area of Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering in what concerns Subsea Systems for Oil Production, Monitoring and Exploration of marine resources. The project aims at increasing the expertise of the participants in such areas as analysis of fault methods in subsea pipelines e mooring cables to be used in deep water; and, develop procedures based on Reliability techniques to evaluate the probability of fault detection of subsea systems.
