Safe Offloading from Floating LNG Platforms (SAFEOFFLOAD)

Funding Entity: EU - Programme SUST
It addresses in particular the new floating structures for production of LNG and in particular the critical aspect of the offloading operations from these platforms to shuttle gas takers that will transport the natural gas from the platforms to the terminals onshore, which pose serious problems related with safety. Attention is also given to loading and offloading moorings.
