Statistics and mechanics of random sea waves are often analyzed by considering sea states with single-peaked spectra. Really, wave spectra with more than one peak could occur in the ocean. Guedes Soares [1-2] showed that in the North Atlantic Ocean (see also [3]) and in the North Sea the double-peaked wave spectra occur in the average in 20-25% of the sea states, even though this percentage decreases as larger the significant wave height is. Some statistical properties in mixed linear sea states were investigated by Rodriguez and Guedes Soares [4-5] that analyzed the heights-periods bivariate distribution as well as the correlation between the heights and the periods of successive waves and by Rodriguez et al. [6] that analyzed the wave height distribution.
