Interaction of surface gravity waves with multiple vertically moored bottom-standing flexible porous breakwaters in finite water depth is analysed based on the linearized theory of water waves. The study is carried out using least square approximation method to understand the effect of the vertical flexible barriers as effective breakwater. The problem is studied for multiple breakwaters using a direct method and wide-spacing approximations. In the present study, it is observed that the deflection of the vertical barrier gets reduced with the increase in the stiffness parameter of the mooring lines attached to the barrier. The resonating pattern in the reflection coefficients are observed for multiple flexible porous barriers. In the presence of the porosity constant the wave reflection is also observed to be decreasing and the change in the distance between the vertical floating breakwaters also helps in the attenuation of wave height. It is observed that the presence of multiple floating breakwater helps in the reduction of wave height in the transmitted region. The force and overturning moment of the bottom standing barriers are studied to understand the effect of the dissipation of wave energy due to the presence of multiple barriers.
