The study proposed has the aim to analyse the impact in terms of safety, cost/benefits and environment of new technical or functional solutions able to reduce the turn around time of High Speed Craft (HSC) and generally of Ro-Ro vessels in the port inbound/outbound [1] operations. The methodology developed is based on the Guidelines of the Formal Safety Assessment (FSA) provided by IMO [2].
