Conference Location

The MARTECH 2026 Conference will be held at the IST Congress Centre on the Alameda campus in Lisbon, Portugal.
IST Alameda campus was built under the direction of Duarte Pacheco and was concluded in 1937 by Porf�rio Pardal Monteiro, who creates the first autonomous campus of the Portuguese university system.
Located in Lisbon, IST Alameda Campus provides privileged access to Lisbon�s main points of interest. The public transport network allows quick travel to all points of the city.

The Conference Organization provides a List of Hotels. There is a wide variety of accommodation available throughout Lisbon and in particular around the IST Alameda campus. However, Lisbon is an extremely popular tourist destination, so we suggest considering booking your accommodation in advance.

Conference Badges - Invitation Cards

Delegates and accompanying persons are kindly requested to wear their conference name badge at all meetings and official functions. Please have your invitation cards with you at all events.

Liability and Insurance

The organisers of DEWATRA 2026 Conference will not assume any responsibility whatsoever for damage or injury to persons or property during the conference. Participants are recommended to arrange for their personal travel and health insurance.

Changes to the Technical and Social Programme

The organisers reserve the right to adjust or change the technical programme and/or the social programme as, if and when necessary.

How to Reach IST

Airport

From Lisbon Airport (Portela) to IST Alameda campus is an approximate 10-minute drive. Lisbon Airport is very close to the city centre as it is located 7km from the city centre, and there are different alternatives to get there, namely by Metro, by Aerobus, by city bus or by taxi. If you choose the Metro to go from the airport straight to IST, you take the red line (linha vermelha) and you should exit at Alameda or Saldanha stations. It takes around 15 to 20 minutes and costs �1,50 plus �0,50 for the "viva viagem" rechargeable card.

Taxi or similar services

Taxis are more flexible and allow you to arrive at IST from any point in the city, but of course the tariff also increases according to the distance, traffic and time of day. The trip from the Airport to IST costs around 10 euros. It is possible to buy "taxi vouchers" at the airport from �20 to �25.

Bus

The whole city of Lisbon is covered by an urban transport network with convenient timetables and frequent buses. The following buses stop near IST Alameda campus:
