The project ROUTING “Ship routing accounting for changeable sea conditions” led by CENTEC and with the participation of 3 polish partners started in March 2018.
The project, coordinated by Prof C. Guedes Soares, was approved by the MARTERA EraNet-Cofund programme with a global investment of 400.000 euros, funded by FCT in the Portuguese component. The project partners are the Universities of Gdynia and of Gdansk and the company NAVSIM, all from Poland.
The project aims at developing a new type of weather forecast system that improves the features of present day weather routing systems. The project kick-off meeting took place at IST in Lisbon on 25-26 September 2018.
